Parishioners Commissioned as Franciscan Associates

We would like to introduce our four new Franciscan associates, all from our parish of St. Augustine.  Christine Cantlin, Patty Powers, Kathy Wojtasik, and Sharon Pielmeier were commissioned as Franciscan Associates on September 21st at morning liturgy at the Mother House of the Sisters of Saint Francis in Dubuque IA.  They were guided through a two year Franciscan Way of Life process by Sr Laurinda Hefel (via zoom), Marianne Cursio, Debbie Pellegrini, Mary Grebinec, Carol Marrone, Patty Purdy, and Eunice Enk.   We were so pleased to see them commissioned with 19 others from all parts of the country and Central America, and it was witnessed by the many sisters and existing associates from all over the country.  May the Lord Bless them and keep them and His light continue to shine upon them.

Nos gustaría presentarles a nuestras cuatro nuevas asociadas franciscanas, todas de nuestra parroquia de San Agustín. Christine Cantlin, Patty Powers, Kathy Wojtasik y Sharon Pielmeier recibieron su comisión como Asociadas Franciscanas el 21 de septiembre durante la liturgia matutina en la Casa Madre de las Hermanas de San Francisco en Dubuque, Iowa. Recibieron la guía de dos años del Camino de Vida Franciscano de la Hna. Laurinda Hefel (vía Zoom), Marianne Cursio, Debbie Pellegrini, Mary Grebinec, Carol Marrone, Patty Purdy y Eunice Enk. Nos complació mucho verlas recibir su comisión junto con otras 19 personas de todo el país y Centroamérica, y fue presenciada por las numerosas hermanas y asociadas existentes de todo el país. Que el Señor las bendiga y las guarde, y que su luz siga brillando sobre ellas.
